Do you provide a lock?
No. The tenant provides their own lock. Some locks require
cylinder locks, but most will take a standard disc lock.
Do I need to have insurance?
Yes. We offer tenant insurance to tenants (sign-up required) through a third-party provider, however, if you
do not elect to choose this coverage you must make sure that your homeowners or
renters’ insurance will cover your contents in the event of: fire, smoke,
water, rodent, theft, etc. We are not liable for your personal property.
What is the best way to store my contents?
We always recommend propping boxes and furniture up with
pallets, or other items in case of water or damage from dirt. We also recommend plastic
totes over cardboard boxes, and furniture and mattress coverings for longer-term storage. For extra precaution, placing a couple glue-traps in your unit as an
extra precaution.
Are there any items I cannot store?
Food of any sort (even if canned or non-perishable) are never to be brought to the facility. Also anything flammable or combustible – paint, stain, rags, fireworks, explosives, tanks,
fertilizer, etc. Violators will have their agreements terminated immediately.
Can I hang out at my storage unit?
No. The storage units are meant for you to drop off, pick up
your contents, and leave. Not work on your car, play music, invite your friends
and family, bring your pet, set up chairs, eat, drink, smoke, and spend the night.
Violators will have their agreements terminated immediately.
Can I have a garage sale, estate sale or similar outside my unit?
No. Our facility is to be accessed by those only on a current lease, and we do not permit these activities.
I no longer need my mattress, TV, tires and a few other items - where can I leave them?
Not anywhere on our grounds. You will be charged. Please contact the proper municipal sanitation department for their drop off location and times.
Am I able to use electricity or water on-site?
No. We do not offer this.
How much is the security deposit?
You will either be charged a one-month security deposit, or a one-time non-refundable start-up fee. Please select a unit for rent to see your options.
Can you cancel my late fee?
We have a five-day grace period for you to pay your rent,
after the fifth day a late-fee applies.
Can I drop off payment or mail to facility?
Payment is to be made online in your account. We do not
accept cash or offer a drop-off box or have a mailbox at our facilities. Mail that is sent to the property will be not be delivered.
